Thirty-three doctors came to Dubai, United Arab Emirates for six days (from 8 am until 6 pm) for intense training in February 2011. The dedication, commitment, motiva-tion and gracious culture of these doctors made the course an excellent one. Our host, Dr. Majid Rahmani, and his team had planned every detail to perfection. Dr. Chris Baker began each morning with a quiz, though several times during the evenings together, she would hear one of the doctors 40 May/June 2011 JAOS imploring of her, “no quiz, no quiz!” She replied, “yes, quiz!” The enjoyment by all was evident, not only during the evening dinners full of laughter and fun, but also every day as each doctor’s thinking and treatment planning exhibited understanding and quality. Their energies and willingness to work hard brought honor to the American Orthodontic Society as these new members worked to integrate and master the diagnostic principles and skills as well as the treat-ment planning being practiced. The doctors have strong interest in the connections
