ORTHO INDUSTRY NEWS bluephase ® Style Curing Light & Digital Models New from Great Lakes, the bluephase® Style Curing Light is ergonomically designed with a shortened light probe to allow conve-nient curing in hard-to-reach poste-rior areas. Cordless and lightweight, it can be comfortably held like a pen or a pistol, and is gentle to pulp and soft tissue. The Style is ideal for curing all materials due to the specially developed polywave® LED, and the large (10mm) diameter tip provides greater surface coverage, reducing curing times. Manufactured by Ivoclar Vivadent, this bluephase curing light features a maximum light intensity of 1,100 mW/cm², rotatable light probe, an optimal broadband range of 380-515nm, Click & Cure battery backup function that prevents clinical proce-dure interruption, and is noiseless, with no venting required. Style also utilizes a lithium polymer battery with inductive charging system that requires no contacts. Great Lakes now offers highly accu-rate Digital and Printed Model Services for treatment planning, case presenta-tion, model archiving and appliance fabrication. Digital models can be created from the doctor’s intraoral scans or Great Lakes can generate scanned files from the doctor’s models, impressions, and bites.
