CONTRIBUTOR BIOGRAPHIES Juan Carlos Echeverri, DDS, FAOS, is the owner of Echeverri Dental Center in Houston, TX. Echeverri is the creator and director of the dental education outreach program for the schools surrounding his practice. He is a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Dental Society, American Orthodontic Society, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Elsa Alfonzo-Echeverri, DDS, FAAPD, is the Vice President of Echeverri Dental Center in Houston TX. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is an international speaker having made presentations in Venezuela, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Spain and the USA. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Assn of Pediatric Dentistry and the AOS. David W. Jackson, DDS, FAGD, IBO, graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1978. Dr. Jackson, a member of AOS and AGpO, as well as other professional organizations, lectures extensively for the American Orthodontic Society and the International Association for Orthodontics. His insight to the real world of orthodontics in the general practice is honest and informative. Arafa Mohammad Arafa Khatab, BDS, MSc, PhD is a faculty member of the University of Egypt as well as a lecturer of Pedodontics. A graduate of Tanta University of Egypt, Dr. Khatab has spent hundreds of hours in research, gaining clinical experiences and receiving training in dental sedation, implant and root canal therapy. Ralph Nicassio, DDS, graduated from UCLA in 1985. Dr. Nicas-sio has maintained a private practice in Norwalk CA for 25 years. Dr. Nicassio a member of AOS has taught 700 days of continuing education in the 19 different counties internation-ally and throughout United Stated and Canada. His emphasis is on practical solutions emphasizing diagnosis of orthodontic and prosthodontics cases. Bradford R. Williams, DDS lives and works in Skiatook, OK and has practiced general dentistry for 29 years and practicing gp orthodontics for 28 years. He is a Diplomate in the Ameri-can Orthodontic Society, a member of the ADA, ODA, Tulsa County Dental Society, International Congress of Implantolo-gists, American College of Oral Implantology and the J. Dean Robertson Society of the OUCOD. He first joined the AOS in 1983 and studied the Begg Technique with Dr. Charlie Yates. Later, he changed techniques and began straight wire orthodontic training with Dr. Bob Gerety and Dr. David Jackson and has been doing straight wire orthodontics in his practice ever since.
