AGpO MEMBERSHIP NEWS Spring Into Continuing Education It’s winter in Alaska; the days are cold and the nights are long and dark. Winter has its beauty, but we work through this season with the expectation of warm sunny spring days to come. The 2010 AGpO Annual Meeting in Texas was a huge success. Those attending were able to experience some great continuing education and to connect with their fellow Tip-Edgers. Your leadership team of offi-cers and our Executive Director are in place and lead-ing the AGpO forward. If you weren’t able to attend, may I offer my sincere condolences; you can still see photos of the weekend in this issue. Our expectations for this Spring will include the AGpO Spring Refresher, a meeting that seems to get more popular each year. You will once again be able to exchange ideas with old friends and refresh your knowledge of all Tip Edge techniques. Mark your calendars now for May 20–22, 2011, at the beautiful Marriot Legacy Towne Center in Plano, TX Tom Jacobsen, DDS because Dr. Ron Austin will AGpO President present his highly acclaimed “Practical Tip-Edge” course. It will be a weekend well spent and a great opportunity to improve and refresh your orthodontic skills and network with so many other dentists and pedodon-tists who practice orthodontics. As you return to your practices after the holiday festivities, do so with the expectation of spring days to come and with the knowledge that your AGpO is working for you.
