ORTHO INDUSTRY NEWS Align Partners with DentalXP to Launch Global Online Invisalign Certification Program Align Technology Inc, has launched its Orthodontic Aligner Fellowship Certificate Program, an online training program to provide general practitioner dentists with professional education to help inte-grate Invisalign clear aligner ther-apy and iTero intraoral scanning into their practice. The program is a collaboration between Align Tech-nology and DentalXP, a dental education provider and will be hosted on the DentalXP website. According to Align Technology, the program will consist of approxi-mately 30 hours of training provided by experts in the field. The program is divided into 10 separate lesson plans, with content The aligner fellowship program includes Invisalign training for those participants who are not already an Invisalign trained doctor. The online curriculum is intended to allow general practitioners to maintain the day-to-day practice while fulfilling the requirements of the program at their convenience. Upon completion of the modular certificate program, participants will receive continuing education credits and an official Certificate of Completion endorsed by New York University College of Dentistry.
