The patient is happy at this time with the result and may never opt for a root form implant as a definitive treatment option. Many times the lines become blurred between what is considered provisional treatment and what is considered permanent treatment. There are many ways to provisionalize missing teeth in a post-orthodontic case. The main focus in this article was to share with you a case in which TADs were used as provisional abutments for provisional e.max E4D gener-ated porcelain crowns. In Part 3 of this series, I will describe how I surgically increased the labial-lingual dimension (width) of the deficient bone in the maxillary lateral incisor sites with guided bone regeneration, which provided adequate platform width for eventual root form implant placement.
