He grad-uated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1991 and completed an AEGD residency program at the University of North Carolina in 1992. After complet-ing his residency program, he joined Dr. Jim Dahm in practice in 1992. Jeff has completed the Dawson Academy curriculum for restorative dentistry and is currently a member of the Seattle Study Club program. His passions are helping children with their facial growth and development and the combination of orthodontic care and restorative dentistry for the broken down dentition. Newby, DDS, is a Diplomate of the AOS and has practiced orthodontics for 30 years and has completed over 2,000 cases. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1976, and the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1980. He has completed the Master Program in implant dentistry at the GIDE Institute in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Newby practices multidisciplinary dentistry in Mount Hope, KS, a small community outside of Wichita with his associate Katie L. Neidig, DDS, an AOS member. Ralph Nicassio DDS, graduated from UCLA in 1985. Dr. Nicassio has main-tained a private practice in Norwalk, CA for over 25 years. Dr. Nicassio is a member of AOS, he has taught 750 days of continuing education in 19 different countries internationally and throughout United States and Canada. For over 20 years he was the lead tenured instructor for Progressive Orthodontics. He has been a consultant for fellow general dentists all over the world and has diagnosed over 40,000 comprehensive orthodontic cases. For the past 3 years Dr. Nicassio has been an instructor for Henry Schein Orthodontics teaching a comprehensive and advanced orthodontic course. His focus is on practical solutions emphasizing diagnosis of orthodontic and prosthodontic cases. Lynn Pencek, RDH, MS, was obsessed with ergonomics and posture from the beginning of her clinical career. As clinical faculty at Thomas Jefferson University, Lynn was the teacher who was preaching proper seating positioning during preclinical instruction. She joined the sales and consulting team for Orascoptic in 1993 and has helped thousands of dental clinicians see better and practice clini-cal with healthy posture. Tatis, DDS is the former Chief Director of the post-graduate orthodontic program of Colegio Odontologico Colombiana for over 10 years, and has been a post-graduate visiting professor of continuing orthodontic education in Mexico, Madrid and Republic of Argentina. Dr. Tatis is the creator of the Orthokinetic Philosophy and has authored four books on the topic. Maria graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Cerritos College in 1991 and lives in Lakewood, California. With over 20 years of experience in the dental field Maria currently works in a general dental practice and orthodontics. Maria has over 3 years of teaching experience in orthodontics program for dental assistants and currently works with general doctors doing in office consultations.
