AGpO MEMBERSHIP NEWS AGpO Future Is Bright; Challenge Yourself to Grow Hello, I am so excited to be your 2016-2017 Presi-dent of the AGpO. The Academy means a great deal to me, and adding Tip-Edge has changed the landscape of my practice. Not only has it changed my financial future, but also the longevity of my practice. The AGpO is moving forward with growth and chances for service with more educational opportunities. We are working on adding Tip-Edge videos to the website, myagpo.com. Dr. Ron Austin’s Practical Tip-Edge lecture will be available on-demand for all members this fall. In addition, we are excited to offer our hands-on program in several new locations: Seattle, WA; Orlando, FL; Edmonton, AB; Ottawa, ON; and New Brunswick, OH. AGpO’s 2017 Annual Meeting will be held in Galve-ston, TX at the San Luis Resort on October 5-7. This meeting will be information-packed and follows the theme of “What To Do When……” There will be a half-day presentation from Dr. Chris Kesling of TP Orthodontics and a full-day with AGpO instructors. Don’t miss the opportunity to see old friends and find new solutions to old problems. The 2016 annual meeting was Sherman John Menser, DDS held in Plano, TX at the Marriott AGpO President at Legacy Town Center. It was well-attended and the hotel was impres-sive. Dr. Austin, Dr. Samson and Dr. Buschang did a wonderful job with their presentations. The Academy’s potential is only limited to our imagi-nation and, with what I have seen recently, we are becoming more diverse. The more views we embrace; the more knowledge we will have and the stronger we will be. Every member has the potential to take advantage of these new opportunities and I challenge you to allow the AGpO to take you and your office to new heights. The Academy’s financial and membership numbers are doing better than ever before and this year has the potential to be the Academy’s brightest with even better years to follow. I am so thankful to the Academy’s members in allowing me to serve as its Presi-dent and I am looking forward to a prosperous year.
